The Chakras – Fourth or Heart Chakra

This is the fourth in a series of articles on the chakra system. The seven major chakras are aligned along your spine. The first chakra is located at the tip of the tailbone, the second is about 2 inches below the belly button, the third is at the solar plexus, the fourth is the middle of the chest, the fifth is at the base of the neck, the sixth is in the center of the head, behind the eyes, and the seventh sits flat on the top of the head. All except the seventh go through the body, front to back. Their functions range from completely physical- the first chakra, to completely spiritual- the seventh chakra and they impact every aspect of life. Each chakra has a function that directly contributes to your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. The chakras hold information from this lifetime as well as previous lifetimes and not all of it is empowering. They can hold other people’s energy as well as your own. They are in constant motion, sending and receiving energy, and they are constantly reacting to what is happening in your life.

The Chakras – Seventh or Crown Center

This article is dedicated to the Seventh Chakra or the Crown Center. The seventh chakra sits flat on the top of the head and is the gateway to Spirit. It is center where we realize the Divine Reality within our own consciousness, the “I AM”, and through which we receive inspiration, intuition, and guidance. Cyndi Dale describes is as; “The “psychic center” for higher knowing, it receives the spiritual energies and guidance necessary to activate our purpose…. It contains the yang ability to live our divine identity by expressing purpose, and the yin ability to take in energies essential to feeding our spiritual nature.” Cyndi Dale – New Chakra Healing As eternal beings our chakras contain information from prior lifetimes as well as this lifetime. It is believed that the Crown chakra also holds all of the information contained in the other chakras.

The Chakras- Sixth or Brow Center

This article is dedicated to the Sixth Chakra or the Brow Center. The sixth chakra is also called the Third Eye and is located in the center of the head, behind the eyes and between the ears. This is the center of thought, intuition, inspiration, imagination and clairvoyance. Thought is where everything begins it is “first cause”. Everything that we see in our outer world began as thought including our bodies. The sixth chakra is a powerhouse. It is the internal command center. We can use our sixth chakra to consciously create what we want to experience in our lives by using our imagination. “God in man is man’s imagination” – Neville Goddard. Imagination is the fertile ground of creation. The sixth chakra is also the place where we can observe what is occurring in our lives with complete neutrality. If you take your attention or awareness to the sixth chakra you will notice that you are not in the emotion of the lower chakras and can simply see what is going on. You can be the neutral observer and that is powerful. With neutrality you can see and act with clarity.

The Chakras – Fifth or Throat Chakra

This article is dedicated to the Fifth Chakra or the Throat Center. The fifth chakra is located in the throat. This is the center of communication and is linked to the soul for the expression of its desires. In my experience the function of fifth chakra goes far deeper than simple communication. Through the fifth chakra we speak our truth and express who we are, what we are here for and what we want. Cyndi Dale says a function of the fifth is “the ability to define ourselves in the world”. This is not always easy to do because the energy that is behind that expression is conviction and conviction comes from a sense of worthiness and value. Invalidation and unworthiness are energies that block the fifth chakra. Maybe in this lifetime or previous lifetimes it was not possible to speak your truth for fear of punishment, persecution or even death. This energy may be totally irrational in this present lifetime but the fear it arouses is very real and shuts down that communication center.

The Chakras – The First or Root Chakra

I am starting a series of articles with this newsletter on the chakra system. My work with clients primarily consists of reading and clearing energy for people, houses and businesses. When I am working in a house or business I am clearing the energy of who and what has gone before. The work that I do with individuals is all about reading their energetic body, ie; chakras and aura and identifying and releasing energy that blocks their power and success. Each chakra has a function that directly contributes to your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. The chakras hold information from this lifetime as well as previous lifetimes and not all of it is empowering. They can hold other people’s energy. They are in constant motion, sending and receiving energy, and they are constantly reacting to what is happening in your life.
