Non-resistance is a power tool because it takes the power away from adverse circumstances by neutralizing it.  Instead of being beaten down by resistance we can use it!

We constantly desire something better; it is what we are built for, we embody pure creativity.  What we have to know is that there is always growth involved in manifesting intentions. When you are moving forward, obstacles appear on your path that resist your forward motion and that show you what you fear.  The way you deal with them is through non-resistance.  As long as you resist a situation it will persist; what ever you fight, fights back, and whatever you focus on expands. So if you are undisturbed by it, meaning you are not emotionally attached, it falls away by its own weight.

Resistance is actually an affirmation that you are on the right track!  It is telling you that you are moving ahead. Resistance creates the opportunity to release what is holding you back from having your desire.

You make your declaration of where you intend to go, what you intend to be, what you intend to have. In so doing, you challenge the ego or personality that has been in control up to now and who’s only reference is the material world, by focusing beyond the material world to create something new.  The ego then thinks it is dying and tries to scare you back into its comfort zone.  The fears and doubts of the ages then have the opportunity to surface for the purpose of seeing and releasing them. This is the moment of truth when you realize that you are greater than your doubts and fears and you take control by taking refuge in your fierce faith; “No matter what this looks like I am moving forward”.

The moment of truth I just referred to is one of many because this is an ongoing process. Resistance comes in stages especially if you are manifesting a life changing event.  You may get through one round and get hit with another but I know this like I know my name; the bigger the resistance the closer you are to your demonstration.  As soon as you accept it, it will fall away.  “None of these things disturb me” is a great mantra!  I had a client say “I thought realizing your dream would be smooth and easy”. Typically, not so.  This is a learning experience; an experience of learning who we really are. We have within us the power to do, be or have anything. But this physical reality has fooled us into thinking we are powerless, which is really funny considering we created it.  It is a case of believing that the creation has more power than the creator – time to shift back to the truth!

So resistance allows us to see and take our power back from our limitations.

Resistance has another purpose; it can actually be the motivating factor that sets a desire in motion by letting you know that you have to move, you have to create something different and better. It’s been called divine dissatisfaction. It lets you know that you have used up the current place and it is time to create a next step because you have more to give and receive.

Make friends with the energy that is pushing against you and it falls away of its own weight.
