Validation and Adundance

There are actually two main aspects of taking care of yourself on your Spiritual Journey. All of life is Spirit.  Everyone you meet is simply you with a different face. The first aspect is taking care of your self by giving to life itself. I am talking about simple things that take you out of yourself and maybe a little out of your comfort zone, and validate others. Like saying “Good morning” to someone you meet on your morning walk or sincerely asking the clerk at the grocery store “how are you today” and being interested in the answer. This is very simple but very powerful.  When you acknowledge someone you are saying “I see you and you and I are the same”. You are validating them and yourself as Spirit and the way you know that is by the way you feel.  When you express Spirit in your daily life you are expanded.  This is abundance. You are giving to others what you want to receive. The golden rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.

The second aspect is taking care of your self by treating your self as Spirit; valuable, precious, limitless and powerful. This is also abundance. You are giving yourself what you want to receive. I think a lot of people, especially women, have a hard time giving to them selves.  When I read for people I read the energetic body, chakras and aura layers. The fourth chakra is the heart chakra and so many times I see love and generosity but it is all being poured out to others.  The heart chakra is the center of affinity for others but also affinity for your self.  I remember one reading in particular looking deeper into the heart chakra past the beautiful picture of love that was out flowing and seeing an empty throne.  We have to sit on our own throne in our heart space because that is the starting point for every relationship to include the most important one which is your relationship with yourself.
